PC person trying to learn Apple Time Capsule internet speed issues
If I plug my PC directly into my cable modem I get my 10 to 13 upload and only .4 -.6 download. I have reset and restarted, disable firewalls and no matter what I do with the time capsule my speed drops and stays around 1 for both. That is way to slow. A 15 minute download is going to take 10 hours. Again everything reset and restarted and have no ideas whats up.
PC is Win7 x64
MBP is had the latest OS
Airport 7.5.2
It is slow hardwired and wireless. I do have vonage and have unplugged that and doesn't seem to make a difference!

How long have you had the router? If it's new you could restore it to it's default settings, or it could have some internal issue and you might have to return it and get another one.
Also, have you tried to see if there are any firmware updates avalible and apply them?
did you set a specific channel?
Your initial message is very confusing. You say you are getting download speeds of only .4 to .6 if you are connected directly to the modem. If so, what has this to do with Time Capsule?
Yeah I ruled out Time Capsule, it's a router issue for sure. The channel could cause interfearence so trying a higher channel could help. But I would say if it's a new device, just return / exchange it.
need to talk to the cable co. They may be able to reset something that fixes you dl speed. If not then you will probably need to replace the cable modem.

I am playing with channels and I have to go by TW to get a new modem...so will update later today!
