Small Business Server and WSUS

Hi i have currently been tasked to look after a "003 small Business Server i have noticed there is no disk space left, going through the files to see what i can clear down i have noticed a WSUS folder And a WSUS database that is taking up about 12 gigs of space can anybody tell me the safest and easiest way to clear down or get rid of this service without damaging anything.

Am i right in saying this is Windows System Update Service that puses updates out to PC's?

As I understand it there are 2 ways:

There is a toool called WSUS Server Debug. You should be able to download this from Microsoft.
Then run the tool "wsusdebugtool.exe" and use the "purgeunneededfiles" switch.

This should remove the old unneeded files.

The nightmare begins again in Windows 7 and Server 2008 and onwards with the new winsxs folder though!

Yes i think so. Otherwise if you can do a repartition of the exisiting drive and increase the C Drive.

Good luck
