Using Dynamics Distribution Groups when configuring Resource Scheduling Permission

I would to configure that only a specific group of people can create a appointment with a room mailbox.

Is it possible to use "Dynamics Distribution Groups" when configure "Resource Scheduling Permissions" on resource/room mailbox?

regards

I think you'd need a dynamic security group - not a distribution group.
I am not sure if there are any native methods available in AD to do that.

This question was answered here with as script. You can give that a go.

Just A Dynamic Security Group.
Not mail-enabled.

I havent tried out the script there, but it was marked as an answer by asker.

You cannot use simple "Security Groups" on the "Resource Scheduling Permission".
It only accepts "Distribution Groups"... and as tested right now, also "Mail-enabled Universal Security Groups".

Perhaps i can find a mix between the solution you linked and the fact that it has to be mail-enabled.

It is not a real solution, cause it's not possible to do it like it should work.
