Known Compatibility Issue

Hi,

Have an issue with a Windows 7 PC on our SBS 2003 Network.
When The user logs onto PC it gives error message as seen in the image.

I have made sure the Hotfix 926505 has been installed on the SBS 2003 machine.

Thanks

Are you trying to resolve the issue of installing the software or stopping the startup prompt? depending on where it is pulling it from either msconfig or remove the setup.exe line from the logon script on the server

I am trying to understand why this is happening in the first place! If i dont want to see the prompt again the i could tick the box and never see it again! This happens whenever anybody on the network logs in but is only an issue with Windows 7. Will this cause a problem if not run?

Its happening because the server is trying to install updates on the machine that are not compatiable with windows 7. I have always got around this by removing or reming the line in the default sbs script
this link gives more details on users with the same problem
