Yes it is a local file, I copied the file to my computer via the RDP session and it opened fine, but I have Excel 2010 which could be the difference?<br />
Size is not a factor, it happens with any .csv file.<br />

Did try that as well but it changes the format, does not display the information as it should.<br />
And the user wants it to work as it did last week...

This was a new add in that was installed so it had to be the issue, removed it and it solved the issue

Im troubleshooting an excel issue, the user is unable to open .csv files, excel just pops up a send error report and then offers to recover the document but only recovers a blank spreadsheet.<br />
