Konica Minolta bizhub C353 scan to email issue

I am trying to setup a Konica Minolta bizhub C353 to scan to email. All settings (exchange 2007 too) is configured for that function. The issue is when I try to scan to email, I receive that message: 'From address is not set. Unable to transmit. Please specify the from address'. I check all the settings of the machine, and could not find any option for that from address.

Can you please advise how to fix that issue?

Thank you

    Assisted Solution

Go to the IP address of the Bizhub in a browser.  Login with the administrator option (default password 12345678).

Click the Network tab then click E-mail setting -> E-mail TX.  Enter the device email address on this page, which will appear as "From" to your users, then click Ok.  I have never been able to configure this from the copier, just from the web interface.

All the steps in the manuals are completed. We forwarded the request to the company that installed the machine. Thanks for your help.
