Oracle ODBC RDB Driver version 2.10.11

Posted on 2011-10-14
Last Modified: 2012-05-12
After examining the machine, i have found that the only item that installs for the ODBC RDB installer is the Windows Installer.  I have checked registry and blown away the C:\ORANT folder, but with no luck.  I have tried registry mechanic without luck.

Same error message every time.  Cannot Locate C:\Documents.  I even tried to create a folder on the root of c, that is labeled Documents.  No dice.

Please advise.   1st screenshot 2nd screenshot

    Accepted Solution

Older versions of Oracle had problems with folders containing a space.

It is actually trying to put something in "Documents and Settings".

It doesn't know how to handle the space in the folder name.

I've never installed that specific product but you need to install to a different folder, without a space.
