On a Windows 7 32bit PC, we loaded Office Pro Plus 2010.  After the installation, office could not be found.  It wasn't listed in the programs list nor was it found in C:\Program Files.  Tried to reload the program to no avail.  We have loaded the program several times on similar PCs with no problems.  Trying to avoid a complete reinstall of the Windows OS.
Thanks.

Do this to check Office installed or not..
START>RUN>Type WINWORD & Press Enter.

If Office installed successful, then MS Word will open, else your installation Not successful.

Now to check where office installed, try following on command prompt..
reg query "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\WINWORD.EXE" /v Path

You will get Installation folder.

Thanks

TechnoChat,

Thanks for your comments we are trying this right now.  But I was also informed that is it on Windows XP machines and not Windows 7.  Windows 7 load just fine, but the XP machines are the one where it looks like it loads fine with no errors, but unable to find anything.

Will let you know if your solution worked or not.

Are all of the other pc's you installed it successfully on 32bit or 64bit, also is there any previous installation of office found on the machine or any remaining files. If there are previous installations still present remove them.

There were previous version, but it happens whether we upgrade or we remove the previous installations first.

reg query "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\WINWORD.EXE" /v Path

Thanks
