I am looking for an excel spreadsheet I can utilize to keep track

of my hardware configurations on all of my networks.

Does anyone have a sample they can send me?

    Accepted Solution

I've attached a very basic sample but it really does depend on what you want.

Personally I would keep all information you can about model details, serial number, part numbers if visible, memory, processor, any drives installed and any other devices such as modem, bluetooth.

Ideal is to use a program such as Spiceworks (free) or Kaseya to scan your networks for all hardware and applications that are installed.

A database such as would be created by these programs is probably better than a spreadsheet but it's up to you. Inventory-Sample.xls
