Trouble styling hyperlink with css

I have attached a Word doc outlining the problem. I am trying to style the ARI EXT module in Joomla 1.7. I cannot get to links to style like the third as explained in the Word doc. Link-Problem.docx

    ... and maybe a screenshot of the prblematic items? I can read your proprietary document fomat, but somehow the problem description seems to be missing.

    I'm going to withdraw the question for now because after uploading from my computer to the Web server the problem seems to be fixed. I need to compare the files to see what is happening.
