Dear Experts 
 
I am looking for an iPhone app to support me when traveling abroad. I want to be able to do the following: 
 
- offline map of location visited 
- ability to use GPS function to display current location on such map 
- possibility to create a list of addresses on mac and/or pc and/or web 
- such addresses shall be synced to the app (or any other possibility to comfortably enter addresses, typing them on the iPhone is not really an option) 
- such addresses shall be displayed as pins on the map (and serve as indications of places to visit) 
- cool features would be: 
-- tick off a pin/address once visited 
-- categories for different type of addresses 
-- different colors for different categories 
-- possibility to add notes to a location 
 
I have searched quite a while and tried a few things. Nothing really made me happy. 
 
Does anyone of you know an app that covers the aforementioned criteria?

The iPhone is a smartphone made by Apple Inc. It and the iPad, along with several other mobile devices from Apple, run on the iOS operating system, which has its own topic, as does the iPad for device-specific questions. Native iOS applications are written in Objective-C or in Swift using the Cocoa Touch frameworks or HTML5 compiled with the help of a package manager such as Adobe PhoneGap; a common IDE is Xcode.

iPad is an iOS-based line of tablet computers built around the device's multi-touch screen, including a virtual keyboard. The iPad includes built-in Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity on select models. An iPad can shoot video, take photos, play music, and perform Internet functions such as web-browsing and emailing. Other functions – games, reference, GPS navigation, social networking, etc. – can be enabled by downloading and installing apps.

iOS is a mobile operating system developed by Apple; it is a derivative of the Mac OS X desktop operating system, with which it shares many (but not all) common frameworks and other components. These include Cocoa Touch, the Mach/Darwin/XNU kernel and code from the Berkeley Software Distribution (BSD). Each iOS application runs in its own secure sandbox to prevent altering other applications, the operating system, or any other data.
