Are you sure it's a Dell 1470 wireless card?

Use SIW to verify. Look under the PCI section and wireless card should be identified.

Did you verify it is a 1470 wireless card? It pays to be sure.

Can you physically remove the mini PCI card? If so, remove it, start up, uninstall the wireless from Device Manager. Then shut down, install the card and ensure it is seated well and the antenna wires are connect. Now start up and try one of your drivers. I would suggest R151519 as I think it might be one of the latest. ... Thinkpads_User
