Publishing .swf to local or network

Hi Experts,

When we publish the .fla file to .swf file, there is option in setting

1. Access to the local filesystem only.
2. Access to the network only.

What are these 2 options.

My .swf files need to run on the website and I have many .swf files in my project.

They pass the objects from one .swf to other .swf

I recevied this application created by some agency for us and now that agency is no longer working for our company.

I am new to flash and learning the action script. I know Java and C# very well, so I am able to understand the action script with some little help.

So, what option I should select while publishing my .swf file.

It should be

1. Access to the local filesystem only.
2. Access to the network only.

Please suggest and please help e understanding the difference between these 2 options

Many Thanks
