Hi,

I am wondering about Exchange 2010 SP1 Hosted mode and cannot successfully extract the following information from the usual sources:

- Does Exchange Hosted Mode allow folder sharing in between users?

- Am I able to set up "groups" of users who are able to see each other within the same global address list, but who are not able to see others?

- Does Exchange 2010 hosted mode also require active direcotry?  Do mailbox-holders need to be created as users within active directory?

- Can it be installed within the same active direcory domain along with a normal on-premises-installation of exchange?

Thanks for clearing up the mist.

If you do not already have it installed in hosting mode these questions are not relevant

- yes, you can share folders
- yes, otherwise hosting would not be a solution
- yes, you always need ad for exchange
- no, you can only have one org per forest
