Phone.com service and my sonicwall

I have just signed up for Phone.com service.  I was originally going to use sipgate and asterisk, but then opted for the loss of control instead of the cost of buying the gear, since the service is $24 a month.  Needless to say, it will take several years to recoup the cost of my server, not to mention the time to actually learn how to do it all.

In any case, the new physical phones are Cisco 508g, and the outbound call works well.  The inbound not so good.  But what I think it is going on is the idle timeout is cutting the connections so the phone cannot receive a call.  I looked to their forums, but haven't really found anything, not to mention, most of the posts are fairly stale.  My firewall is a sonicwall 100tz, and the only thing I can find is the UDP timeout, and not sure if I want to adjust that, and if so, how much longer do I want it?

Perhaps I was a little premature on asking the question.

I did some research and found that turning on the persistent NAT resolved the issue.
