Outlook Calandar

My boss plugged his Ipad into his PC thinking that it would charge it. It did not charge it, but it did wipe the calendar entries that he entered manually from November 2011 and on. The only items that were left were items entered in Outlook. The Ipad calendar was syncing to Outlook, but somehow the dates were deleted. I believe if I restore a calendar from this week from a backup that the dates will be available again. Any suggestions on restoring single calendar? Shadow copies are not enabled, nor is the calendarrepair feature under the logging folder. I am using Acronis 10 without the Exchange module. This is turning into a nightmare! Any help you guys can give is appreciated!

Questions:
a) How is iPad syncing the calendar ?
Usually it will take the calendar items form the mailbox - communicating using Exchange ActiveSync with Exchange 2007/2010 servers.

b) IF the above is true, then verify if the calendar entries are there in mailbox and resync.

Any suggestions on restoring single calendar?
>> What Exchange Server based backup are you using ? You can do a restore from there and overwrite the present calendar with the one from an older date.

Acronis etc wont work, as they are client level utilities on OST
VSS doesnt support PST / OST - so that wont work either.

solution is to look at exchange backup and restore from there.

The calendars entries are not there, so I wanted to restore calendar from an earlier time. I am using Acronis 10 backing up the entire VM, but it doesn't have the exchange module.
