Exchange Server 2003

My exchange 2003 server (os windows 2003) is having an issue with the disk space (c drive is almost full only 4gb free). The details of the database are as follows:

C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\mdbdata\priv1.edb

C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\mdbdata\priv1.stm

i have added another hard disk onto my server and the new partition is available as f drive which has got sufficient space.

how do i shift my present exchange database to the new partition so that space issue can be eliminated.

i would like to know the steps to do this and whether any issue will be there with respect to exchange as this is our core server.

Just go to the mailbox store properties --> database tab and change the location to new disk by clicking browse.

Yes, perform this activity during off business hours. Moving the database to new location would take the database down.
Follow the steps as per KB 821915 there won't be be any issues.
