Java to automatically create a trending chart

I want to use Java to create a chart, with x axis being the date, and y axis the number of machines built. How can I create the chart automatically with Java?

    Download two zip files form these links , extract from them JFreechat-1.013.jar and JCommons-1.0.16.jar
    respectively and make both of them available on the classpath of your application.
