If Eset is not understanding the file it is scanning, then is not really checking the file for malware?
Correct.

You may get a log at the end of the scan giving more informative messages unless that is the message.

>Have you, or someone with access to your pc, downloaded this app recently?
>Look in Add/Remove programs for an entry called "PrevX". If it is there and you do not use it, remove >it.

Last question PLEASE, Yes, not recently but  I downloaded prevxcsifree.exe , which is the different between Prevx, downloaded from

http://www.prevx.com/freescan.asp

or

http://majorgeeks.com/Prevx_CSI_d5785.html

Sorry I get lost here, is a Prevx's different version?

In Add/Remove programs there is an entry called "Prevx" why I should remove if I use it very frecuently?

>Further if you would like to see the content of the file you may use 7zip to compress the files created >using 7zip

I have WinRar latest Version Paid Version, can I see the content of the file, with WinRar?
>First I would like you to submit the file prevxcsifree.exe to the below mentioned online scanners to >check if this file is infected or just another false positive from ESET.

I did here are the results
