how i can keep my application running on the background

i have xcode application for iphone and this application will stream play list from project everything is working fine what i need to how is how i can keep my application running and streaming on the background without disconnecting it.

man i tried your solution but  it's not playing on the background when ever i click the home button the sound stop

You need to launch this app (NoiseMaker) on the phone.
You tested it on the simulator.
