This is using MS Exchange 2003 server on 2k3 AD Domain. Recently, we just setup a new user laptop for a new user. We also configure MS Outlook 2010 to use Outlook Anywhere, and everything looks good. This new use brought the above laptop overseas, and the moment he just open Outlook, he was prompted with problem as attached. How to solve the problem/

Thank in advance.

1 Solution
this genarally due to wrong MSSTD/Exchange Proxy Settings value that get configured with autodiscover service.

Make sure issued to name on the Certificate must match with MSSTD value.

1.In Outlook 2007, on the Tools menu, click Account Settings.

2.Select your e-mail address listed under Name, and then click Change.

3.Click More Settings.

4.On the Connection tab, click Exchange Proxy Settings.

5.Select the Connect using SSL only check box.

6.Select the Only connect to proxy servers that have this principal name in their certificate: check box, and then, in the box that follows, enter msstd:example.contoso.com.

OR Exchange Proxy server name should be on certificate. (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/use-outlook-anywhere-to-connect-to-your-exchange-server-without-vpn-HP010102444.aspx)
7.Click OK, and then click OK again.

8.Click Next.

9.Click Finish.

10.Click Close.

Error is showing that certificate is not issued by an Trusted SSL authority. So you need to buy a SSL from trusted SSL authority like verisign , godaddy etc.
If you have already purchased it and still getting this error then you also have to install certificate authority intermediate certificate. you can easily get the installation instructions from your SSL authority.
Any update on this
