Setting default joomla theme (joomla 1.7)
The 404 page is using a template that doesnt exist anymore!!! I have downloaded a copy of all files from templates, then search for a line from the displayed template and it isnt there......

it wasnt turned on.
I just set it to progressive, then enabled again in plug in settings.
No change.

I think thats the old page, does it have some DIVs at the bottom that are not displayed correctly?
The old template has the line of code:
<div id="uc-right">
Yet this doesnt exist anywhere in the templates menu.

yes it has that code
Try this plugin to see if that helps

Im correct in thinking new blog articles should adopt the default theme right?

it depends on how it is set up and if the template is allocated to a menu - if you want me to take a look for you let me know - i can be contacted on skype if you have it
