Setting default joomla theme (joomla 1.7)

The 404 page is using a template that doesnt exist anymore!!! I have downloaded a copy of all files from templates, then search for a line from the displayed template and it isnt there......

ASKER

it wasnt turned on.

I just set it to progressive, then enabled again in plug in settings.

No change.

I see this page - is this right or is it the old template?
Untitled-3.jpg
I think thats the old page, does it have some DIVs at the bottom that are not displayed correctly?

The old template has the line of code:
<div id="uc-right">

Yet this doesnt exist anywhere in the templates menu.
yes it has that code

Try this plugin to see if that helps

Cache Cleaner

Some plugins cache things so try that and see if that does the job :)
I installed it and im afraid no change...

Im correct in thinking new blog articles should adopt the default theme right?

Easynow
it depends on how it is set up and if the template is allocated to a menu - if you want me to take a look for you let me know - i can be contacted on skype if you have it
If you wouldnt mind that would be great. If you email me on dean@suremedia.co.uk i will give you access.

Cheers
