How is it possible for my Yahoo search engine rankings to get hijacked?

When I do a search on Yahoo for my business' keywords, my website is ranked and the title and description I created on my web pages comes up but when someone clicks on the yahoo search result they don't go to my page but rather some other site. However my site is the one cached. It's like someone hijacked my Search Engine Results. How is that possible?

Is the link to your business?  That is, does it reference your business' name?  Or just a series of keywords you use?  Is it a natural link, or is it an advertisement?

If someone is really using your business' name to steal your click-throughs, I'd get in touch with Yahoo.

Paul, its a normal search result in the natural links section of yahoo. The title of the search result comes directly from my index page and the description comes from my meta description. The green link shown at the bottom of the yahoo result shows my domain name. However clicking the search result sends you to some other generic web site.

Also, its interesting to note. I just did a search on yahoo for "pharmacies" in my home town and up came a yellow pages listing for pharmacies. When I click that yahoo search result rather than going to yahoo yellow pages it goes to some generic web page talking about pharmacies but it is clearly not the yellow pages web site.

Could this be a virus on my computer or a firewall issue? I'm using my company computer which is networked.
It could be something on your computer.  Can you try a different one?  If the problem persists on your network, can you try a machine elsewhere?
Paul, I just borrowed my colleague's computer and did a search for "Wilson Tennis" on Yahoo. Clicking on the yahoo search result for Wilson Tennis Rackets with the link www.wilson.com/en-us/tennis/ will take me to the Wilson site. However doing the same search from my computer on yahoo and clicking the same search result and I go to a www.ave99.com page saying "you can shop for wilson tennis" with a bunch of links listed. Clearly the wrong page.

Doing the same search on google from my computer and i go to the wilson homepage just fine. What's up with yahoo and my computer?
