My Documents /Libraries /Documents redirect, in use point to different areas

Recently when I've added new workstations or users to a domain, their "Documents" in the start menu is not pointing to their redirected (via GPO) documents. It instead goes to Libraries. So basically this issue is causing some user confusion. Is there a setting in GP from a recent update that I missed that would be causing this issue?

The domain is a mixture of 32 and 64 bit Windows 7 Pro, Server 2008 SBS but we are using group policy instead of the SBS features for redirection.

Not a direct answer to your question, but do you really need the library features? I have often found that to be the best method to deal with this.....

And then maybe even using GPP to deploy a shortcut to the redirected location if needed.....

    Accepted Solution

Disabling the library features would be fine with me. I assume this is in group policy somewhere?
