Conditional Formatting

I am trying to set a conditional format whereby if Column A in my table contains the word "NO" then the entire row is highlighted red... problem I am having is I can only get a single cell to be highlighted red rather than the entire row.

You need to apply conditional formatting to all columns

I deleted the existing conditional formatting then I selected the whole table A4:Q4 and applied conditional formatting with this formula

=$A4="No"

Note only one $

Now it should work - see attached

Sorry, I said "I selected whole table A4:Q4" - I meant to say "I selected whole table A4:Q19"...because that's what I did
