Hi All

Is there any way of preventing particular users in all but one BU from saving a record if a certain value is selected from a picklist on that form.
Or..
Is there any way of disabling the mouse wheel for one picklist or one form in CRM. We are finding that some of our users are creating the wrong type of contact by accidently moving the mouse wheel on a picklist.

Thanks

Wow, that is an unusual requirement.

I can't see how you can disable the mouse wheel for a specific control in CRM. However, I think you could achieve the first requirement by having an OnSave event in the CRM form. You would need to write javascript to see what value is selected in the picklist, if it is one to be controlled then check the user's BU. If the user is allowed to save, complete the save, if not, then cancel the save.
