as incredible as this may sound, i need to have someone dial in with a modem to my network. i had an old windows 2000 server with that dial in service ( i forget what it is called, it's been a long time ) but that server finally died.
is there a way to use windows xp to have someone dial into my network, or should i just dig up my old windows 2000 server cds?

In Control Panel
    Choose Network Connections
            Then Choose New connection Wizard

Select the last option - advanced connection

Then select the first option: allows others to connect to your computer.

You may run into some issues with services that need to be started, or drivers to be loaded, but here is the spot to establish the incoming modem connection.

It should work fine.
