CSS style help

I have two blocks, one for new users and one for existing users to log in. I am trying to get the screen to look like the attached image, but am having trouble figuring out which CSS style is causing the log in box to drop to the next line. Can someone help me figure this out?

The html for this is way way way more complex than it needs to be, no wonder it's difficult to get stuff to line up. Here is one thing that's causing the login button to be pushed down (see illustration):

if anything is miss alligned make sure the div is wide enough as thats normally what causes this mis allignment
