I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Instead of throwing out random guesses, lets look at this logically....

Enable the (Hidden) Administrator Account on Windows 7 or Vista
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/enable-the-hidden-administrator-account-on-windows-vista/

Then login, and see if you can run the installer.

Are you having any other issues with this machine, like any other apps that will not install?

Look in the Event Viewer, and please post the EXACT error, including the Event ID for it....
