When moving an email from the inbox or junk mail either through a rule or manually a folder with the same name gets created and the email goes in that folder inside the folder the email was moved to.  For example, if I move an email from the junk folder to a vendors folder it will go into a junk folder inside the vendors folder even though I did not create one and it does not show up as an expandable folder in outlook.

Can you supply any code that resides in the thisoutlooksession code module?

alt + f11 to open the VB editor.

If the project explorer is not visible then ctrl + R to display it.  Expand the structure until such time as thisoutlooksession is displayed then double click it to open.

If you have code then copy it all CHECK for anything sensitive and edit the sensitive data out then post it up here.

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

There is no code in the window that opens when you click ThisOutlookSession.

Okay, the only scenario in which I could imagine this occurring is a macro that was running on the folder add event.  If this was the case then the code would reside in thisOutlookSession.

I truly cannot conceive what else might do so except the possibility that an add-in is responsible.  Do you have any add-ins enabled ... if so try disabling each in turn to see if they affect the functionality?

There are seven add ons.  Five are MS and the other two are GoToMeeting and PDFM.  I will disable them and see if that helps but I doubt it will let me move the emails from the junk folder inside the vendors folder to the root o fthe vendors folder.  Also, if I move the email from the junk in the vendors folder to another it moves it in the junk folder in the folder I move it to.

Sorry, was off to Austin TX for a few days.  No, there isn't any change in behavior when disabling the plugins.

No code in the application, all add-ins disabled so, since this is not normal behaviour all I can think is that a re-install will be required.

The solution did not explain the root of the issue making it harder to prevent the issue in the future.  Though I don't know if it is worth the time and effort at this point to try to get to the root issue.
