Where in the World is the ICA Client Options tab?

Default-Printer-in-GP-through-Ci.docx

Hello:

Attached is a KnowledgeBase article on default printing in Microsoft Dynamics GP when GP is in Citrix.

The last page of the document tells you the steps to take.

But, when I right-click on the GP icon, there is no "ICA Client Options" tab--Only a "General" tab with a URL.

Where do I find the spot to go in to find the check box for "Start this application without waiting for printers to be created"?  Normally, it's in the ICA Client Options tab.  But, again, I can't find that tab.

Help!

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What version of XenApp are you using?  This article was written based on MetaFrame XP, which has long since been out of support.

Start this application without waiting for printers to be created is the default setting for published applications and can be altered within the published applications settings.  In XenApp 6.5, there is a policy related to a published desktop doing the same.

The end user does not know much more about Citrix than I do.  But, he says that the version is 5.

Where is this policy setting?

As joharder said, "Start this application without waiting for printers to be created" is a property setting of the Published Application and/or Desktop and that is the default setting.
