This happens mostly when you install windows XP on new laptops. If it's a laptop you need to go to your BIOS settings and Disable AHCI mode and change it to IDE mode.
Another solution is to find your AHCI drivers compatible with your chipset and press F^ during the installation of XP and using them via a Floppy Disk drive.!

Do not disable AHCI with Win 7 already installed. Your best solution is to slipstream the XP hard disk controller driver into your XP CD using nLite. Alternatively, you can use a USB floppy drive and the F6 drivers for your hard disk controller.

Follow the instructions at the link I gave you (see Part 1, Part 2, Part 3). You need the entire XP CD, not just the i386 folder. There should be no need for nLite to access any folder other than the one created to contain the XP CD and that folder should be C:\somename not in the Documents folder.

Did you incorporate the hard disk controller drivers into the XP CD?
If you have floppy drive on your computer go to this link and download the first item and extract the contents on a floppy disk. Then start the windows setup and press F6 when it prompts. Then it asks you to put the floppy when needed.

If you have a floppy don't bother yourself and use my comment . . .
If you have no floppy drive then willcomp's solution is the best to do!

You get this Blue screen because Device Driver Issues.
