Appointments disappearing from my device

Greetings, esteemed experts!

I’ve had my HTC Surround (with Windows Phone 7) for a few months now, and I’m quite enjoying it. I’m moderately obsessive about logging everything I do in the Calendar, so there’s lots of data in there.

I noticed today that the appointments in my Calendar from last month (and previous) no longer seem to be in my phone. They’ve just disappeared. Fortunately, when I log onto my calendar on, all past appointments are there, but they just disappeared from the phone itself.

I tried to “re-sync” my Windows Live data from the phone’s Settings menu, but the Calendar information still isn’t here after a successful re-sync.

Is there some kind of “windowing” feature that only keeps a certain amount of Calendar data on the phone? I can’t seem to find that option anywhere.

    Accepted Solution

I heard the following from Microsoft support yesterday:

"Unfortunately there isn't a setting on your device to download or sync the previous calendar events to your device. I do apologize for any inconvenience that you may have experienced. You can only download previous email from 3 days to anytime."

It appears that I'm stuck with losing my old Calendar items on the phone.
