Bootmenu

Hi,

I added an extra drive (SSD) to my machine. Now I would like to boot from it.
I have an Acronis image which I wrote to it but now I'm kinda stuck. How should I configure it?
SATA is first drive on which Windows 7 (2 versions) and Windows 2008, the other disk (SSD) has the Windows 2008 which I like to boot from. I still need to be able to boot other OS-es.

Thanks for your help.
S.

Installed easybcd

There are a total of 3 entries listed in the bootloader.

BCD ID: {8cb2d9b7-7c05-11de-842e-b4611d44fefa}
Drive: D:\
Bootloader Path: \Windows\system32\winload.exe

Entry #2
Name: Windows7_AS
BCD ID: {current}
Drive: C:\
Bootloader Path: \Windows\system32\winload.exe

Entry #3
Name: Windows Server 2008 R2
BCD ID: {default}

Hi,

If I understand your meaning you had plug a new drive into your machine and put an image of Win 2008? if so hit ESC or F1 or Enter (according to your machine brand) and choose a temporary boot device from boot menu (where you can choose boot from HDD, DVD, USB, Network..) and select your new drive.

Best Regards.
