Projector Resolution Isuue

I have a FAVI HD Projector http://www.amazon.com/FAVI-RioHD-LED-2-Mini-Projector/dp/B0033QJLQW

I connect it to my DELL Latitude E5420 with a HDMI cable.

The resolution for reading test is very poor.  When I chech the projector it is set to 1080 60refresh which matches my pc setting 60 refresh and I no matter where I set the screen size the text is not legable after focusing the lens.
Should it not work at 1280x720?
I am using a whiteboard to project onto.

Hi, I'm afraid that it's going to be difficult. The native resolution of your projector is 640 x 480, this means that higher resolutions will not look sharp.

Can you try to set your Dell to 640x480 and project on a matte area like a white wall. A white board (glare) is not suited at all for displaying purposes.

I would, take your Dell machine with you and test it if you can.

Your ability to read text will also depend on the size font you use.  A larger font will work with 640x480, but you will have less text that you can fit in one screen.  For the maximum amount of text, a full HD (1920x1080) projector will be needed.

The Favi supports 1920x1080.  But everything get really small. I will check it out again.
