Hi! I'd like to disable POP3 access for a single user on my cPanel/CentOS server. I would like them to connect only via IMAP protocol. Is this possible?

    Usually not.
Check how the authentication is done and whether you can use a service restriction option
If you wish to preserve the data the user receives, there are options to log incoming/outgoing emails as an archive.
Presumably your cPanel is tied to qmail, postfix?

If he is coming from a fixed IP you can block access to port 110 from this address... If you want all your users use IMAP instead of POP3 then you can block port 110 from all addresses.

No fixed IP, unfortunately. It's a cPanel/Exim server. I didn't look into the authentication too much, to be honest. I basically wanted to share a mailbox with someone, and didn't want them to accidentally download all the messages from the server using POP3, but in the end, I just explained that he needs to use IMAP. Worked out fine so far :) Thanks for your help though!
