I have a list of over 1000 names and I need to send letters to each name. What application can I use to create the form and have the application input the names of each person on a single form sheet  and print the form.
Does anybody know if I can use Adobe, Excel or word to do this task?
thank you in advance

Word mail merge might be the easiest way to do it. Here's a tutorial for Word 2003:

I would suggest Word Mail Merge. The list can be an Excel spreadsheet, Access table, Word table, CSV file -  in fact virtually anything with a table-like structure. You can have extra columns if necessary to personalise the data to particular recipients.

In the Word application, start from the Mailings tab> Start Mail Merge>Step-by-Step mail merge wizard.
