install HP Service pack on managed server

Is there a better way to install the HP Service pack on each managed ? I have use the System Management HomePage and click a particular pack to install but nothing happen. Any idea or advise ?

If its a managed server who is it managed by ? are they restricting patch installation for example if its in a data centre  ?

All the servers are managed by me and there is no restriction for the patch.

Updating disk firmware is a bit different than other upgrades since the disk stores the new firmware but defers install until a reboot. Do you get problems with installing other updates with SMH/version control?

I normally just run the ProLiant Support Pack install on one machine, enter another machine as target and push it out that way.
