How to allocate the citrix licenses for 2-node citrix servers?

This is a design and planning to rollout 2-node citrix servers, setup on MS Widows 2008 r2 servers. Management has agreed to go ahead with 110-licenses for the citrix servers. We also purchases same number of TS license. How should I setup these 2-node citrix servers with the above 110 licenses? Shall I split them into half, for each server? Shall I setup a pool? Please show in step-by-step, as I am very new to w2k8 TS. BTW, this is using XenAPP 6.

Thanks in advance.

You don't split them up.  XenApp will retrieve the licenses it needs from both the TS/RDS license server and the Citric license server.  It is very simple.  Don't overthink this.

In order to use XenApp 6.x, you must also install the RDS License role.  Then you activate the RDS License Server and install your RDS CALs.  You can have both the RDS License Server and the Citrix License Server on the same server.  This server can be a minimal resourced server.  It doesn't take much in the way of server resources to handle either or both roles.

Very simple.

In Server Manager, Roles, Add Role, Remote Desktop Services, select only License Server and click next next next.

Citrix, from your installation media/files, run autorun, exe manually install components, select license server, add your admin password and then add your licenses.
