Mac computer not seen in Active Directory Users and computers console

I joined a mac to our domain, but can't see it in the Active Directory Users and computers console on my pc.
Any ideas why i can't see it ?

    different file systems.. and different protocols to handle the network..i guess...or just its setting is set to hidden..

    how did you join it. i take it you have an AD-OD setup in your company. How are they sharing resouces.

    It actually showed up by itself the next day. Must have been some kind of replication issue between DC's.
