Send a link down trap using snmptrap command to management system.

I need help understanding the format of OIDs to be used with the "snmptrap" command. My intention is to use the command to send an SNMP link down and link up traps in order to trigger alerts in a Network Management tool.

the OID of the IF-MIB link down notification I think is is this correct? If so how shoudl this be used with the snmptrap command?

    The command combination I was looking for was;

    snmptrap -c public -v <Target IP> <Source IP> 2 ""
