Windows 2000 Server with Window RAID 5. Need access.

Have Windows Server with bad motherboard.  CAnnot replace.  Need a way to get at the RAID 5 data.  There is a DB there we need for a restore to a new VM of the dead server.

The RAID is good.

I expect the only option would be to connect the RAID array (and disks) to another server.  Fortunately never had to do this though, so can't say if this is the only option.

No there is a much simpler way. I had a failure similar to this. I connected all the drives on another server and used rstudio to build a " virtual raid container" which allowed me access to the data.

Is it a del/hpl server or a home built ?
