Is there a way via wired (or preferably, wirelessly) to get GAL contacts to sync up with a BlackBerry Curve? And keep it up to date or sync automatically?

This one blackberry also has like 3 different contact lists and they're almost the same and I'm not sure how to delete them without wiping the phone.

    Accepted Solution

Are you using BIS - Blackberry Internet Service or BES - Blackberry Enterprise Server.
If you have a BES installed in your network, then GALSync will sync your contacts.

If you are using BIS through your Cell provider, I am not sure if you can sync your contacts.

Yes we have BES. Is that a setting you'd have to enable or is it on by default? Not sure if I have access to that.

Ok looking around further it looks like the only way to accomplish this would be to copy the GAL to a public folder, then the public folder could sync with the BlackBerry. How's that work?
