command completed not settings modified

Enter the following command:
Get-owavirtualdirectory -server exchange2010 | set-owavirtualdirectory -externalurl -exchange2003url

Get followng message:
WARNING: The command completed sucessfully but no setting of 'exchange2010\owa (Default Web Site)' have been modified.

Why would I get this warning? Why did it not modified?

    this message means there is nothing to to with your command cause those settings all already applied and nothing to change.
