VB.NET - ReportViewer Passing Parameters

Hello experts,

I create a simple report that I want to pass some parameters.  Basically be able to input on specific job numbers and operation type.

I created the dataset which looks at the stored procedure for these.  The parameters is already in my dataset, but I can't get it to show up in the report so that I can use it.  It kept saying missing "JOB".  Do I need to create a textbox for "JOB" and one for "OP" and then pass that to the report?  I'm used to using reporting services 2005 where I can define the ReportParameters.  However, I put in the parameter from my stored procedure in there and it's not letting me.

So 2 questions.  One is how can I get the parameters to show up?  Do I need to create a textbox in my vb.net form and pass it to the report?  Or Can I just define the ReportParameters inside of the rdlc file and use that instead?

That is the default setting under properties for reportviewer.  ShowParameterPrompts is shown with value "True".  Is this suppose to enable me to use the parameter within the dataset?  Or do I need to pass it as a variable from a textbox to the reportviewer?

Sorry I may not be clear.  I have a windows form that have report viewer.  I have a RDLC report that I create and want to use reportviewer to display it.  The report is set to look at a stored procedure that has 2 parameters.  One  is the Job ID and the other is the Type.  I can't seem to get these 2 parameters to come up when I load the windows application.   It kept giving me an error that I need to define the parameter.

So I wasn't sure if I need to create the 2 textbox on the windows form and pass that to the report or if there's a way to set it so that the 2 parameters would show up for input.
