SID to User account with Powershell

I need to know the PS commands to search an entire forest when all i have is the sid of the Security Group. This group was recently deleted from the forest.

If the group was deleted, the SID will be removed from all members of the group.  I'm afraid you have lost the group memberships as a result.

You can try to recover the directory in an isolated environment so that you can export the members to a file, and then script re-adding the users to a new group.
