fonts/letts on desktop icons are whited out and hard to see??

hi experts,

I have a workstation where the font colors on the desktop are whited out and are very hard to see. Even if I change the backgroud color to black or blue the fonts are hard to see.

start>run>cmd

net stop themes

See if that can drop your visuals down to a manageable point for now.... Or at least change to the Windows Classic Themes in the Display applet in the Control Panel?

Also, rename the following file to FNTCACHE.OLD

C:\Windows\System32\FNTCACHE.DAT

Then reboot.....

Interesting read, with a few possible methods to correct. Looks like this is not so easy in 7, as it is in XP....
