access exchange 2010 owa web application using dyndns host name
I need to publish my exchange 2010 owa using dyndns host name. I am using ADSL internet router. I have configured my router with dyndns host name abc.dyndns.org. I need users to access my exchange server from outside using the url http://abc.dyndns.org/owa. How can I config this. When I type the http://abc.dyndns.org/owa I got the http 404 file not found error.Any step by step guide with picture available for this.

ok...what webserver are you using? IIS?
is exchange physically on localhost? or on another machine?

on localhost.Yes IIS default coming with exchange 2010
sorry...what I mean is this.
When someone goes to your normal website, it goes to an IIS your router is told to send traffic to and from. Is your website on the same machine as your exchange server?
meaning: http://abc.dyndns.org/ is on Machine 1, and http://abc.dyndns.org/owa is on machine 2....
Now if http://abc.dyndns.org/ and http://abc.dyndns.org/owa are on both machines, then you have an IIS problem, and you need to go check your subdomains and ports. If IIS thinks owa is on port 81, then that's why you are not seeing it from outside the network.

Guys,
How CNAME record should look like if the external owa is https://mail.domain.org.uk/owa,
and dyndns is: user82.dyndns.org ???
i.e.
mail CNAME (and here is my question - destiantion should be user82.dyndns.org) ???
Thanks,
M.

Exchange likes using subdomains as well.
if this isn't the case, check your IIS/apache. if abc.dydns.org is working and you can get to owa via inside the network, then your primary webserver is not pushing.
