Learning how to illustrate graphically

I need to learn how to illustrate graphically. What is the best and easiest way of doing this / learning how to do this ?

I have little previous experience in this.

practise, practise, practise. There are numerous texts to show you techniques, but the only way to get good is to practise.

Corel Draw
Photoshop
Gimp
Photstyler
Illustrator
Powerpoint
Visio
Paintshop

Whatever you can get you hands on really and how far you budget will extend.

Professionally you might want to limit yourself to Adobe Products and CorelDraw for ease of commercially viable skill sets and the ability to print etc.

The question you ask is going to be hard to answer specifically as each Illustration medium will have it's adhereants and specialist techniques. Which all require practice, practice and more practice.

+TUTS.com has a bazzillion tutorials and links to another bazzillion more which might give you an overview of what software others are using and how techniques are performed.

online training offered buy asklinda.com and similar are other great resources as is ComputerArts magazine and website.

However all of these sights recommend expensive software and more practice, practice and more practice.

Good luck

Adobe has a good product.
Click on the link to "review" at the top.
Also there is a "features" tab.
