SBS 2011 installation failing on IBM x3400

I have a brand new IBM x3400 M3 server and I am trying to install SBS 2011 standard on it.

I am having issues with the SBS install, it is failing at the DCPROMO part, the error in the log is error 94 ExitBadLocalAdminPwd I have changed the local admin password to a complex password but it still fails. THis is a clean install not a migration, the IBM server and SBS Server have been installed using the IBM Server Guide disk.

I am a little confused as to why the error is pointing to the local admin password when before it fails it asks me to create a new user account and enter the password.

I have rerun the install from scratch after reformatting the disks and get the same problem.

Any advice please other than throwing the server through the window?

Make sure that when you create the User that it does not contain the word Admin or Network.  You should use a real name like BStewart.

Try this and let me know if you still get that error.

Also, ensure that if the system has multiple NICs, that all but one is disabled via BIOS.
